There are only four tanks in World of Tanks that always make it to the top. Namely: Valentine II; Pz.Kpfw. B2 740 (f)- are at level 4 WoT, and are the worst opponents, because of their good armor. It is worth noting a minor change: the maximum reverse speed has been increased to 14 km/h.
As for the armor, it has been increased in vulnerable places:
The characteristics of the Soviet premium tank have not undergone significant changes, however, they have affected almost every element.
The base armor penetration of the projectile was increased to 186 mm for the Chinese heavy tank. Also, the speed of the cumulative projectile was increased by 80 m/s and is 720 m/s. The accuracy of the gun has also been slightly improved:
- gun dispersion - 0.42;
- mixing time - 8 sec.
The developers did not touch the armor of the tank. The Chinese WZ-111, 112 and Alpine Tiger heavy tanks have only been modified in terms of firepower and accuracy, improving long-range hits.
The American medium tank has been improved in many ways:
These characteristics greatly improve the effectiveness of the tank, since the armor penetration is quite comfortable for the preferential level of battles. The stabilization of the gun when firing on the move was also added. The engine power was increased, but the specific power remained too weak to create breakthroughs along the flanks.

Previous changes to the medium tank have increased its effectiveness in combat, with the new changes in update 1.2 it has become even better. Despite the weak engine power, the T26E4 began to shoot accurately, reload faster, and the armor of the turret and its vulnerable spots made the tank well protected from classmates and low levels.

A Chinese tank with an identical base to the Alpine Tiger and the WZ-111 has undergone similar changes. The only difference of 112 is the accelerated gun reload time up to 12.6 sec. Dispersion and mixing were also slightly improved, however, they are inferior to their "brothers" in terms of characteristics. The main difference between the 112 is its strong turret, which helps in close range firefights.
The armor of the tank also did not change, so the characteristics remained the same.
One of the few preferential premium tanks that was comfortable in the game after the balancer change. The Frenchman has practically no armor, so his main features are dynamics and weapons. The combat effectiveness of the tank has been increased:
- gun reload time has been reduced by 0.7 s and is now 6.8 s;
- increased the angle of vertical declination of the gun to 10 degrees;
- engine power increased by 250 hp, respectively, the power density is 23 hp/t.
At the moment, this is one of the best premium tanks with a preferential level of battles, however, this vehicle is not suitable for every player, since the Frenchman does not have armor. It is worth noting the review of 400 m, which allows you to illuminate the enemy at long distances.
The armor penetration of the base projectile up to 186 mm was added to the Soviet heavy tank. The accuracy characteristics of the gun were also improved: the aiming time was reduced to 2.8 s, and the dispersion was reduced to 0.44 m. In addition to these upgrades, armor was added to the tank in the frontal part: 
The IS-6 has never been known for its good accuracy at long ranges, however, the high one-time damage and good dynamics made it possible to break through the enemy defenses, while with good armor, the tank had a high survival rate in battles. The heavy tank destroyer of Germany, created on the basis of the "Royal Tiger", has undergone another change. In the new update, improvements have been made in many areas:

With improved performance, the tank has become more dynamic. A comprehensive improvement in the parameters of the gun now allows you to deal damage to an opponent from a long distance. The stabilization of the gun has been significantly improved, allowing it to fire efficiently at high speeds.
In addition to dynamics and firepower, armor was added to the front of the tank: 
TYPE 59 is considered one of the most balanced premium tanks with a preferential level of combat, as it has good armament, an armored hull and turret, as well as improved dynamics that will allow you to change positions in a matter of seconds.

The famous Chinese medium tank with a powerful 122 mm gun capable of dealing 390 HP. damage per shot. In update 1.2, the base shell penetration was increased to 186 mm. In Update 9.18, we introduced a new balancer that forms battles according to the 3-5-7 pattern. As a result, the distribution of teams in different parts of the list changed - from now on, everyone could find an opponent according to their strength. But something remained unresolved, and this is especially noticeable in relation to the "preferential" cars. We are talking about frequent battles in the middle and bottom of the list. We will try to fix it. How exactly?
Right now we cannot control the distribution of the number of battles in different parts of the list: the balancer simply does not have such a mechanism. Therefore, we need to not only decide on the most appropriate distribution option, but also completely redesign the balancer architecture, adding the possibility of such a setting. This is what we are working on now. Such work will take time, so, unfortunately, the changes will appear in the game some time later, after updating the characteristics of the “preferential” cars.
